The 22 mm rim combined with the smooth Kastaplast plastic guarantee a comfortable grip, and the sharp profile and fast flight will give you a cutting edge on the long fairways. The Vass is a great disc for shaping lines into the distance but stay away from the Common Reed.
The Grym has been plagued with production inconsistencies for years, and at this point no one really knows how the mold is supposed to fly. The Vass share the DNA of the Grym but the numbers are changed slightly to fit the current flight chart. It is a disc made to ride the tailwind in a smooth S-line, and it will end its flight with a short fade. Vass is Swedish for sharp and the Common reed.
K1-Line Plastic
K1 is Kastaplasts super durable material with a nice combination of firmness and gumminess. Discs in K1 Line will appear in both solid and translucent colors.
Kastaplast is an independent disc manufacturer based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Our brand is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun times all around the disc golf world. We look at disc golf as a grassroot movement with its own unique identity; characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom.
Starting off in 2011 as a small prototyping workshop, driven by the fun factor of experimenting, the business soon grew out of the basement as Jonas Lindberg was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. Still, the “workshop style” of developing discs has stayed, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping.
Kastaplast is determined to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in this direction is the use of solar energy that today empowers a major part of our production. Recycling is another. Moving in the direction of sustainability is important to us and it is an ongoing process.
