Rask is a concept disc is based on Kastaplastís invention for drag reduction. Itís the most streamlined disc to date. A good powerful rip and it will have the job done in no time. Rask needs a lot of speed to fly, making it best suitable for power throwers and experienced players. Itís a headwind bomber.
Being less than 22 mm wide at the rim, Rask proves that a discís speed cannot be determined by looking at the width of the rim. Those who want the fastest disc available, without the widest rim reach for Rask!
Kastaplast is an independent disc manufacturer based in Stockholm, Sweden.
Our brand is dedicated to the disc golf culture, the people, the lifestyle and all the fun times all around the disc golf world. We look at disc golf as a grassroot movement with its own unique identity; characterized by spontaneity, individuality and freedom.
Starting off in 2011 as a small prototyping workshop, driven by the fun factor of experimenting, the business soon grew out of the basement as Jonas Lindberg was joined by Anders Källström and Per Jonson. Still, the “workshop style” of developing discs has stayed, with a mix of computer flight simulation, research and extensive prototyping.
Kastaplast is determined to keep the ecological footprint as low as possible. One step in this direction is the use of solar energy that today empowers a major part of our production. Recycling is another. Moving in the direction of sustainability is important to us and it is an ongoing process.
