The Toro can handle the type of torque that world class disc golfers produce. Calvin Heimburg provided Innova founder and president Dave Dunipace with substantial input to help create this extra-reliable, slow-speed midrange to his specifications, with added attention to the in-hand feel of the disc.
Dave Dunipace
Calvin Heimburg was the inspiration behind the Toro. He wanted a flat-top, overstable, mid-range disc that he could have confidence in—something that could handle his level of forehand torque. After several variations, the Toro was created and named by Calvin.
Star Plastic
Our Star line is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. Star plastic offers the same outstanding durability of our regular Champion plastic, plus improved grip like our Pro plastic. Star discs have the same flight characteristics as Champion discs, but are slightly less firm. High performance, longevity, and superior grip make Innova Star line discs a great choice for your game.
